The family of Cyrus H. Williams regretfully informs the community that Cy passed away at home with his loving wife at his side. Cy was a very proud United States Marine and an enrolled member of The Tulalip Tribes. Cy and his wife, Thelma, were married on June 8th of 1974. Together, they raised eight children. Later in life, Cy was blessed to be able to welcome another son into his life. Cy was preceded in death by his father Bernard Williams Sr, his mother June Henry, brothers Randy E. Williams Sr. and Bernard Williams Jr, and three children named: Cheryl Bagley, Lynda Bagley and Matthew Williams. Left behind are his wife Thelma Williams, two sons named George Kekumu and Timothy Williams, and four daughters named Terri Bagley, Cyrena Williams, Leslie Bagley and Jamie Bagley. Arrangements by Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home and The Tulalip Tribes. Services are to be held on June the 7th of 2022 at The Tulalip Gathering Hall at 10:00 am with interment to follow at the Mission Beach Cemetery also in Tulalip WA.
John Eaglefeather Enick(JJ) was born May 23,1977 to G.John Enick Jr and Janice Elaine Bill, he went to be with the lord on May 12th, 2022. He was 44 years old. While he was here he loved to watch wrestling, he was a die hard Seahawks fan, some things he loved was to collect and attend movies, travel to summer and winter Pow wows, barbecues, cook and bake with his loved ones, long drives and walking on the beach with his fur baby, bowling, he loved to joke around and have a good laugh. He worked for TRC as a table games dealer also he was a dishwasher, He leaves behind his mate Jodie Brown, his children fur babie Millie Enick, sons, Dennis Enick/Billy, Nelson Billy, Daughter Tayla Enick/ Billy, sisters Alisa Youcton (Anthony), Karlene Bill (Francis Sr.) Maggie Finkbonner, brothers C. Kurtis Enick, Roman Enick (Teresa), John George IV, Travis Rodriguez, nieces and nephews Sarah,Tela, Mckenze,Tyron & Emma Youcton, Sophelia, Marilyn,Thomas and Francis Williams Jr. Clinton Kurtis Jr., Bobbie Jones, Taleen Enick, Addison Enick & Dylan Enick/ Horne, he was preceded in death by sister Leanne Enick, Nephew Raymeanus Williams, niece Theresa Williams and uncle Michael Enick, first cousin Isaac Bill. Anita Rodgers, 74 of Tulalip passed away April 18, 2022. She was born April 4, 1948 in Everett, WA to Joseph Pacheco and Magdalen “Oudy” Cladoosby. She received her flight attendant license in 1998 from the International Air Academy. She worked as a cook for the Tulalip Montessori. She was a traditional tribal dancer, traveling with her grandfather, Ernest Cladoosby to various Pow Pows. She liked to dance and go on road trips and camping with her children and grandchildren.. She liked Karaoke She loved her cats. She loved to go shopping and going to yard sales. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a master at making fry bread. She was a very giving and compassionate person. She is survived by her three sons, Joe Henry, Vince Henry, and Rick Henry; grandchildren, Joe, Jerry, Brandon, Dustin, Anthony, Taylor, and Jasmin; and numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert Monger, Chuck Vassar, Lucinda Cladoosby, Mark Monger, and Rose Webb. She was preceded in death by husband, Randy Rodgers, her parents; her sister Tina Pacheco; brothers Darryle and Joseph Pacheco; and her nephew Nathan; and her daughter-in-law Loulou.. Born in Tacoma, WA April 22, 1965 to Yvonne Johnson and Turk Markishtum. He is an enrolled tribal member of The Makah Nation, grew up in Oahu, Hawaii and Seattle, WA where he graduated from Franklin High school. He then went on to pursue a career in Construction for over 30+ Years. He began his career with Tulalip Tribes in 2007 as maintenance and security officer, he’s always been a hard worker from home improvements to work, building and applying every skill to his everyday life. Dean was a huge golf, Seattle Seahawks and Mariners fan, he went to games, collected jerseys and rearranged his schedule to watch every game. He took pride in every vehicle he ever owned and invested in each one, loved to keep them clean and running well. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Jennifer Markishtum, his children Justine (Josh), Dean, and Steven (Rhonnalee) Markishtum, Marc (Tiffany) Robinson, Sheena (Martin) Robinson, Carissa Robinson, and Cyrus (AnaMaria) Williams, special niece/daughter Yvonne Markishtum. Siblings Debbie (Billy) Ancheta, Sean Esperas, Dwight Esperas, Terry Markishtum. Patricia “Pat” Marie Cuellar , 78 of Tulalip passed away April 12, 2022. She was born March 11, 1944 in Monroe, Washington to Morris and Hilda Feller. She was a traveler and raised her children through thick and thin. Pat loved her siblings and grandchildren very much. She loved her wiener dogs and took them everywhere. Pat was so happy when she would see her family and friends, she greeted everyone with a smile and a hug. Pat enjoyed shopping and buying gifts for her grandchildren, she was thoughtful and made sure she told her grandchildren she was always thinking of them. She is survived by her life mate of 30 years Cory Wentz; sons Troy Carlson and Leslie “Will” Martin; sisters Dorothy Frahm, Sharon Mark, Lorraine Hill, Dulcie Walters, Mary Watson; grandchildren, Leticia, Jesse, Amado, Malia, Cassius; great-grandchildren, Elenor, Aleysha, and Ramona. Donald Heinze Brodersen aka “Grandpa” was born October 16th, 1931 on his family farm near Arlington, Washington to Henry Brodersen and Anna Rose Kraetz Brodersen he was 1 of 8 children. Donald grew up on that same farm and graduated in 1951 from Arlington High School, he lettered in track and was an avid member of FFA. He then joined the Armed Service November 17th, 1952 serving as an MP for 2 years before transferring to the reserves until 1960 when he received an Honorable discharge. That same year of 1960 he met the love of his life Vera M. Zackuse at a cafe in Marysville Wa. Soon after they moved to Smith Island where Don worked full time on the Island until he gained employment at Weyerhaeuser where he retired serving 20 years. Don and Vera resided at Smith Island for 13 years and in 1973 they bought a 5 acre track in Tulalip, Wa. now known as the Zackuse Compound where they continued to raise their growing family. Throughout the years to follow Donald enjoyed his life of raising numerous children spending time with Nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and Great-great grandchildren. The life of Razor Clam digging, farming, gardening, traveling to all the kids sporting events and camping were some of his fondest memories. Donald worked his entire life and was committed to everything he did, passing down that teaching to his future generations. Donald went on his Journey on February 13th, 2022 at 4:37 p.m. in the same home he had lived in for nearly 50 years, surrounded by the love and strength of his family. He is survived by siblings Rose Mary Ford, Bill Brodersen, Roger Brodersen and Debbie Brodersen. Children Morris Zackuse, Mitch (Karen) Zackuse, Brenda Zackuse (Richard), Leona Zackuse and Elishia Stewart. Bonnie Lou Jones-Onefeather, (62) who was known to everyone as “Bon Bon” passed on February 9th 2022. She was born to William Lawrence Jones Sr. and Etta Frances Jones in Everett, Washington on July 31, 1959.
Her spirit was strong, her light burned bright, her beautiful contagious smile radiated through to everyone that she knew.
She enjoyed fishing and cooking on the beach with her dad and extended family, going to bingo, doing arts and crafts, spending time with her kids and grandkids as well as stopping to enjoy the flowers. Always had goodness in her heart, her joyous energy was seen by all. She got her GED from Everett Community College in 1979. Afterwards she worked for the bingo-hall. Then she enjoyed being a stay at home mom. Despite all odds of mom being in a wheelchair and all of her kids telling her no, she was determined to prove all of them wrong. She is survived by the love of her life Dan Follestad, her children Jamie (Jesse) Guzman, Jimmy Jones, Samora (Chris) Joseph, Lenetta (John) Rivera, and Bonnie “Punkin” Follestad , siblings brother Kirk (Bonnie) Jones, sisters Diann Akana, Rita (Dana) Matta, Virginia Nancy McClellan, Valerie Matta and Georgia Jones, grandchildren Jesslynn, Brielle, Jesse II, Marcello, Chelsea, Eternity, Natalie, James, Jimya, Daylen, Summer, Jimmy, Violet, Alexis, Matilda, Makena, Amelia, Christopher, Stella, Rozlynn, Rockell, Raylynn, John Boy, Krysta and Myliana, great-grandchildren Christian II and Carter. Butter was born on October 2nd, 1963 in Bellingham, Washington to Joseph D. Bill and Geraldine Bill. Brian went to Ferndale and then, Chemawa Indian school Salem, OR. where he graduated. He played football, baseball and basketball. He also, coached the football team. He was a fancy dancer. He sang with the Eagle Mountain singers. He was a fisherman and sained with the fisherman’s in Bellingham and Alaska. He worked at Trident seafoods. He also, worked for the Tulalip Utilities for 15 years and became a supervisor. He loved Boom city. He worked with Dizzy and soon became a stand owner, known as “Rolling Thunder”. Butter was well respected throughout Indian country in United States and Canada. He was a leader in the Smokehouse. He leaves behind his BH family and BH children. He leaves behind the love of his life of 30 years Stephanie Williams. His daughters Chelsie and Jesilyn Bill. His son’s he took in as his own Alex, Michael Jimenez and Jordan Solomon. He leaves behind his sister’s Inez Bill, Jolene Bill and Kristy Bill-Solomon. Proceeded in death by his beloved parents Joseph A. Bill of Lummi, Geraldine Bill of Tulalip (Tom). Brother: Joseph A. Bill. Sisters: Donna J. Houle, Kathy G. Bill, Miriam J. Bill. It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Cornelius “Neil” Clinton Green Jr. of Tulalip on December 23rd, 2021, at the age of 60 years. Neil was born on January 8, 1961, in Darrington Washington.
He is survived by his Spouse Becky Green of Tulalip; Father Cornelius (Neil) Green Sr. of Darrington; Mother Eleanor Nielsen and husband Eddy, Sister Linda Aranda (Carlton), Brother Brad Green all of Tulalip; Sister Nina Reece, of Arlington; Sister Teresa Meece (Richard), of Darrington; His Son Brian Green (Kari) of Tulalip; his Son Joshua Geithman of Twisp; his Daughter Kirsten Moore-Green of Everett; his Daughter Brianna (Chris) of Japan and Alivia Moore-Green of Marysville. Stepchildren Anthony, James, Darin & Kaitlyn. The lights of his life grandchildren Ciara, Brennan, Savannah, Cayden, Chloe, Blake, Scarlett, Blair, and his great grandson Bentley. Step-grandchildren Brantley and Kalleigh. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and tons of cousins.
Neil is reunited in Heaven with his Brother David Hunter, Sister RoseAnn Green, Nephew James Michael Emhoolah, Maternal Grandparents, Bernice Sheldon Williams and John Miller, and Paternal Grandparents Roy and Maggie Green.
After Graduating from Darrington High School Neil went into the Army National Guard for 6 years. He worked in the Logging industry in Darrington and Hoquiam. Neil also spent some time working at Hewlett Packard and Boeing. It was time for an adventure, so Neil went to Eastern Montana and North Dakota to work in the oil rigs. He came back home and started his own landscaping business with his best Friend Mike Terhaar and then started working at the Tulalip Resort Casino as the Facilities Director.
Neil spent his entire life hunting and proudly displayed his trophy elk and deer. When he wasn’t hunting, he loved being outdoors anywhere with his faithful companion Miss May. He could always be found at one of the beaches of Tulalip, and he loved a good fire side chat. Neil dared to live life to the fullest and enjoyed the finer things in life but most of all he loved his children. He was very charming and Charismatic, and everyone loved him especially the love of his life his wife Becky who was always by his side.
If you knew Neil, you loved him including his Elvis impersonation and his yearly polar bear plunges! He will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed by his family and friends. A funeral service and dinner for Neil will be held Thursday, December 30th, 2021 at the Tulalip Gathering Hall at 10:00AM, despite the snow.7512 totem Beach Rd, Tulalip, WA 98271.
